I’m Dr. Caleb R. Holder, Principal

Welcome to Holder Hospitality Consulting!
For more than two decades, I’ve dedicated my career to the restaurant industry, starting from humble beginnings as a dishwasher and working my way up to the role of company president. I’ve seen it all and done it all, gaining the hard-earned experience that comes from being deeply involved in every aspect of the business.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to lead a wide range of restaurant operations, from managing full-service restaurants with 300 seats to quick-service concepts with or without drive-thrus, as well as delivery and carryout models. Whether it's a franchise or an independent operation, I’ve held every key operational role, from individual contributor to profit-and-loss leader, director, vice president, and company president.
In addition to my operational experience, I’ve developed a strong expertise in restaurant human resources, recruiting, training, and development. I’ve played a pivotal role in shaping company cultures, recruiting, building training programs from the ground up, and nurturing talent to ensure teams have the skills and support they need to succeed. From recruitment strategies to leadership development, I’ve helped organizations optimize their most valuable asset—people.
As an organizational leader, I’ve successfully led the turnaround of multiple businesses that had experienced years of losses, transforming them into profitable enterprises. I’m passionate about improving not just the bottom line but also creating sustainable systems, developing talent, and enhancing overall organizational health.
My practical experience is further supported by my formal education. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership, as well as advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership (Ed.S.), Management and Leadership (M.Sc.), and Public Administration (B.Sc.). This unique combination of real-world leadership and academic insight allows me to approach challenges from multiple angles, ensuring comprehensive solutions for your business.

Andrea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the restaurant, retail, and warehouse industries. She has held numerous leadership and human resource positions throughout her career, ultimately rising to the role of Director of Administration for a prominent 52-unit pizza franchise where she was responsible for all the human resources functions in the company. 
Her expertise at HHC includes recruitment, talent management, organizational leadership, and strategic HR functions, making her a valuable asset to the firm.
